Guttrz is a gutter guard installation and gutter cleaning company based in North Canton, Ohio, owned and run by Christian Schaffner through The Schaffner Company LLC. It started in 2026 to give Stark and Summit County homeowners a plain alternative to national gutter guard brands: stainless steel micro-mesh guards priced per linear foot, a price range by text within an hour, a 20-minute on-site check, and a one-day install with cleaning included.
Who runs Guttrz
Guttrz is owned and run by Christian Schaffner. The business is registered as The Schaffner Company LLC, is licensed and insured, and has its contractor registration on file with the City of North Canton. When you call, text, or send the form, the person who answers is the owner. The owner does every on-site check and stands behind every install.
Why Guttrz exists
The national gutter guard brands sell a good product with a sales model built around a long in-home presentation, a high starting price, and a discount for signing that day. Guttrz was started in 2026 to offer the same category of stainless steel micro-mesh guard without that process. The price is on the website. You get a range by text before anyone comes to your house. You get one firm price after a 20-minute on-site check, and that price is good for a year, so there is no reason to decide on the spot.
How we work
- Price range by text within the hour. Send your address and we measure the roof edge from satellite images. Read how it works for every step.
- One rate card. Priced per linear foot, one rate for single story and a higher rate for two story or steep pitch, corners included. A written range within the hour during business hours, one firm price after the 20-minute on-site check, good for one year. Cleaning, downspout flush, and corner reseal are included with every install. Small fixes during the install, like a missing downspout section, a loose hanger, or a leaking seam, are included at no charge. See gutter guard pricing.
- Repairs first. Guards only go on gutters that are pitched right and fastened tight. We reseal, reslope, and rehang before installing.
- Photos of every job. You get before and after photos of every side of the house the same day.
- Fixes within 30 days. If anything is wrong with the install, text or call the owner and it gets fixed within 30 days at no charge. The 10-year workmanship warranty covers the install after that.

What we install
Stainless steel micro-mesh on an aluminum frame, fastened to the gutter lip and roof edge on your existing 5-inch or 6-inch gutters. Never screwed through shingles. The guards are Leaf Solution gutter guards. The material carries Leaf Solution's Lifetime No-Clog Warranty and our installation carries a 10-year workmanship warranty. We also offer gutter cleaning on its own, priced by stories, linear feet, how packed the gutters are, and whether guards are on, with a firm price from your address and a photo.
We also install seamless aluminum gutters in 5-inch and 6-inch sizes, formed on site to the exact length of each run, for homes whose gutters are past repair.

What we do not do
We do not do roofing or underground drain work. If your gutters are past repair, we tell you and point you to the right trade. We do not run in-home sales presentations, and we do not stack discounts. Seniors 65 and older and military households get a discount on a gutter guard install, amount shown on the quote, one discount per job.

Does Guttrz install a specific brand of gutter guard?
