Gutter guard warranty
What the manufacturer covers, what we cover, and how to make a claim.

Guttrz installs Leaf Solution Xtreme gutter guards, which carry Leaf Solution's Lifetime No-Clog Warranty on the material, the finish, and clogging from leaves, needles, and seeds. That warranty covers material only, not labor. Guttrz adds a 10-year workmanship warranty that covers the installation, parts and labor.
Two warranties cover every Guttrz gutter guard install
Every gutter guard Guttrz installs is covered twice. Leaf Solution, the company that makes the Xtreme gutter guard, covers the product. Guttrz covers the installation. The two work together, and it helps to know exactly where one ends and the other starts.

What the Leaf Solution Lifetime No-Clog Warranty covers
Leaf Solution warrants that the Xtreme gutter guard is free from defects in material and manufacturing, and that the finish will not chip or blister under ordinary wear. It also includes a performance guarantee: when the guard is installed the way Leaf Solution specifies, your gutters will not clog and overflow because the gutter or downspouts filled with leaves, twigs, needles, or seeds.
The warranty covers material, not labor. If Leaf Solution replaces a product under the warranty, it supplies the material. It does not pay to remove the old guard, install the new one, or ship the parts. That gap is one reason Guttrz adds its own workmanship warranty.
What the manufacturer warranty does not cover
Like every gutter guard warranty, it has exclusions. The main ones, in plain language:
- Storm damage, including hail, high wind, and falling limbs
- Skipped routine care. Leaf Solution recommends an occasional rinse of the mesh with a garden hose and a soft brush.
- Improper installation, which is why Guttrz installs exactly to the manufacturer's instructions
- House settling or foundation movement
- Mesh clogged by tree sap, roof oils or tar leaching from shingles, paint, or droppings
- Panels someone removed, altered, painted, or combined with another brand's parts
- Corrosion from contact with dissimilar metals
- Normal fading or weathering of the finish

What the Guttrz 10-year workmanship warranty covers
For 10 years from your install date, if a guard we installed comes loose, lifts, leaks at a corner or seam we sealed, or does not drain because of how we fitted it, we come back and fix it at no charge, parts and labor. Any problem you report is fixed within 30 days.
It does not cover damage from storms, falling limbs, roof work by another contractor, or someone removing or walking on the guards. It does not cover the gutters themselves, beyond the repairs we made during the install.

Call or text the owner at (330) 818-5584, or email christian@getguttrz.com. Send a photo if you can. We come out, figure out which warranty applies, fix anything that is ours, and handle the Leaf Solution claim for you if the product is at fault.
