What's in the price
Every Guttrz install includes stainless steel micro-mesh guards on an aluminum frame, a full gutter cleaning, a downspout flush, resealing of any leaking corners, and before-and-after photos of every elevation. Nothing is an add-on. The price you get by text is the price on the agreement, and it's good for one year.
Why national brands cost three times more
The product is comparable. The difference is the sales model. National gutter guard brands run television advertising, pay commissioned in-home salespeople, and build a large discount into an inflated starting price so the "50% off tonight" close feels like a win. You are paying for the presentation, not the mesh.
What changes the price
Two-story homes and steep pitches take longer and carry more ladder risk, so they cost more per foot. Homes with many inside corners cost more because each miter has to be cut and sealed by hand. Rotted fascia or sagging gutters need repair before guards can go on, and we'll tell you that on site rather than installing over a problem.
Pricing questions
How much do gutter guards cost per foot in Ohio?
In Northeast Ohio, professionally installed micro-mesh gutter guards run $15 to $20 per linear foot from independent installers like Guttrz, and $25 to $40 per foot from national brands after their discounts. Plastic or foam guards from a hardware store cost $1 to $3 per foot but clog within a season.
How many linear feet of gutter does a typical house have?
A single-story ranch usually has 120 to 160 feet. A two-story colonial has 180 to 260 feet. Guttrz measures from satellite before quoting, so you know the footage before anyone comes out.
Are gutter guards worth it?
For a home under mature trees, yes. Two cleanings a year at $150 to $300 each is $300 to $600 annually, so a $2,800 guard install pays for itself in five to seven years and removes the ladder risk entirely.
Does the price include cleaning?
At Guttrz, yes. Every install includes gutter cleaning, downspout flushing, and resealing of leaking corners. Some companies charge $200 to $400 extra for this.
Is financing available?
Yes. Monthly payments through a third-party lender, typically starting around $49 per month on an average job, subject to approval.
