Walden condos and single-family homes

Manny Barenholtz began developing Walden in the late 1960s and early 1970s. It is a deed-restricted community with 17 condominium associations and 89 single-family homes. Walden's rules say all changes to property need approval from the Walden Architectural Committee, and only replacements in kind are exempt. Guards add something new at the roof edge, so plan on applying.

Barrington and the golf course estates

Barrington is a gated community built around a Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course that opened in 1994. Large custom homes like these often have tall walls, steep pitches, and many corners, so the $18 rate and the corner count drive the price.

Possibly both. The City of Aurora's miscellaneous exterior permit application lists gutters as a permit type, with a $25.25 fee, but it does not mention guards added to existing gutters.
